Fire Call, 22nd of December, Flooding, Newnham

At 04:44 having booked available from the Co-op at Ridgeway incident, Yelverton appliance was sent to flooding at Old Newnham Farm, Newnham, Plympton. On arrival the crew found farm buildings converted for residential use with a flooded court yard that was backing into the properties. The crew used the Light Portable Pump to reduce the flooding in the yard and the mini injector pump to pump out the properties. Once they had pumped out the properties the crew booked mobile home station and were immediately sent to another incident, please see the next entry. Sorry no Photo’s
