Currently we get little feed back from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below.

At 12:40 on the 4th of June, Yelverton appliance was called to an automatic fire alarm at Plymouth. Before we arrived at the scene we were stood down and sent to station 50 Greenbank for stand by duties. At 13:09 we were mobilised to “smoke in garage” at an commercial storage depot at Plymouth. On arrival we found a commercial premises with a small amount of smoke hanging in the air with no visible source. As this was a storage depot potentially any of the storage lockers could have been smouldering however we eventually discovered the smoke was caused by a small fire in a light fitting.
