At 08:02 on the 6th of July, Yelverton appliance was called to an RTC involving a motorcycle and a cow!! on the road from Crapstone to the A386 near Knightstone Tea Rooms. On arrival the crew found the paramedics assisting a motorcyclist who had been injured in the incident, the crew asssisted the paramedics and removed the motorcycle from the road. Once the police arrived we returned home station only to be recalled to the incident at 08:44 to wash away the small petrol spillage on the road.
