Fire Call, 17th of August, Rescue person from open water, Badgers Holt, Princetown.

At 15:23 on the 17th of August, appliances from Princetown, Yelverton and the line rescue team from Camels Head were mobilized to rescue a person who had fallen on the stepping stones at Badgers Holt. Princetown arrived at the scene first and found the ambulance service in attendance rendering first aid to a man who it was thought had dislocated his knee.. On the arrival of Yelverton crew the man was carried from the river to the ambulance on a stretcher.
