Fire Call, 11th of July, Automatic Fire Alarm, Princetown Primary School

At 10:27 on the 11th of July, Yelverton appliance was called to an automatic fire alarm at Princetown Primary School. On arrival the crew found the school evacuated and the alarm silenced, the crew checked the school but were unable to locate a fire. The alarm wouldn’t reset so the Fire Alarm company were called and interim measures implimented to prevent any serious risk to the children.

It was good to see all the children out on the playground lined up and reassuring to hear all the pupils were evacuated from the building. Well done to the school staff.
