Fire Call, 9th of July, V58P1, Bin Fires, Yelverton Roundabout

At 02:37 on the 9th of July, Yelverton appliance was called to a bin fire at Yelverton Roundabout. On arrival the crew found two bins alight and a stack of papers outside the shop, the crew used a hosereel jet and a fire bucket to extinguish the fires.

These fires although relatively small could have had dire consequences! One of the bins was tight against a shop window and all of them were far too close to the petrol station for comfort.
