On arrival the appliance remained at a car park and M1 was used to transport personnel as near to the scene as possible. The incident went eventually to eight pumps before the crews, with the assistance of the commoners, were able to put the fire out using beaters, back packs of water and quad bikes with small water sprayers. sorry no photos we left the camera in the appliance.
