  1. Good Evening Fred
Congratulations on the fantastic amount raised at your charity car wash.
I have noticed on the Dsfrs web site it has said two appliances from Crownhill at several incidents is this too say that the proposed cuts are starting to be implemented? As I’m sure there was only one pump at Crownhill and two at Camels head.

Does this also mean that it will only be a matter of months before LRP’s are placed ( with retained crews ) at Plympton and Plymstock? as usual thank you for you time and keep up the good work.

    Kind regards

    Mark

    • Hi Mark

Thanks for the message, Yes the new arrangements are starting to come into place in Plymouth, Currently there are two aplliances at Crownhill that are wholetime manned, one of those appliances will become retained in the near future. as for Plympton and Plymstock thats a bit further away yet I think. I’m not sure the new pumps will be LRP’s but I’m not in a position to know.

      Thanks
      Fred
