Fire Call, 23rd of February, V58P1, Fire in the open, Cadoverbridge

Currently we get little feed back from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below.

At 22:26 on the 23rd of February, Yelverton appliance was called to a fire in the open at Cadoverbridge. On arrival the crew were unable to locate the fire although are fairly sure there was one, gorse fires go out almost as quickly as they catch fire. In recent years at swaling time we have regularly had gorse fires at this location at this time of the day. The crew didn’t waste too much time looking for evidence there had been a fire we put back a stop message “unable to locate” and returned home station.
