Drills, 24th of November, Ships Fire fighting Lecture at Station.

Currently we get little feed back from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below.

The crew turned up early to drills to help put the Christmas lights up at Yelverton Roundabout for the Parish Council. Once they had returned, they had a lecture from a visiting Fire Service Officer on the operational procedures for dealing with fires on HM Ships in preparation for an exercise we will be involved in soon. Yelverton is one of the few retained stations that are trained for ships fire fighting mainly due to the proximity of the HM Naval Dockyard.
