As we booked in attendance at Crownhill, control mobilised us, with Plympton appliance, to a reported fire at the Beefeater restaurant at Marshmills, Plymouth. Plympton arrived at the scene first and quickly identified the fire was in fact some towels smoldering in the kitchen area. They deployed two breathing apparatus with a bucket of water and quickly extinguished the fire. Yelverton crew provided Command Support and Breathing Apparatus Control.
