Drills, 15th of July, Communication drills at Yelverton Aerodrome.

Currently we get little feed back from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below.
At drills on the 15th of July, Yelverton crew took the appliance to Yelverton Aerodrome for some drills that develop problem solving and communication skills. The crew were given a task, move a bucket of water without touching it over an obstacle and a Fire engine full of equipment to do it. They were hampered by the obstacle which meant all comms had to be over the radio adding to the difficulty. Needless to say they devised a plan that worked and, as with all these type drills, there isn’t a “right”answer” so as long as it works and the objective is met without undue risk to those taking part or the equipment then its a success.
