Drills, 4th of March, familiarisation of new Oxygen Therapy equipment.

Currently we get little feed back from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, please use the facility below.

At drills on the 4th of March, the crew were given a powerpoint presentation on the new oxygen therapy equipment and had the opportunity to use it. Previously, we have used our MARS resusitator which has now been taken off the run and the new kit is much simpler to use and matches the equipment used by the Ambulance Service. The really good news was the next part of the new equipment roll out which includes a defibrilator. We will still not be mobilised to ambulance calls as a co-responder station would, but will be able to use it at incidents where the paramedics haven’t yet turned up.
