Fire Call, 1st of March, RTC Persons reported, A386 Grenofen

Currently we get little feed back from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, please use the facility below.

At 14:12 on the 1st of March, both Tavistock appliances and Yelverton were called to an RTC at Half Way House, Grenofen on the A386. Initially, after discussions with the attending paramedic, attempts were made to remove the casualty through the hatch back. When it became apparent the casualty couldn’t be extricated that way without causing unnecessary pain the decision was made to remove the roof and take the casualty out on a spineboard. All three crews worked together to remove the roof and safely release the casualty without any further difficulties. I have included some photos.
