Fire Call, 3rd of March, Gorse Fire, Cadoverbridge.

Currently we get little feedback from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below to contact us.

At 15:51 on the 3rd of March, Yelverton appliance was called yet again to a Gorse fire at Cadoverbridge. On arrival the crew were unable to locate the fire although, from talking to the caller, there was undoubtably a fire there when the call was made. The fire had in all probability gone out on its own. This is most likely the work of the arsonist operating at Cadoverbridge during swaling season. Every year we are called repeatedly to unmanned fires at Cadoverbridge wasting thousands of pounds and tieing up emergency response resources needlessly.

If you have any information regarding this fire you can report it to the Police anonymously on either:-

Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111
