Fire Call, 22nd of November, Fallen electric cable, Meavy Lane

At 12:15 on the 22nd of November Yelverton appliance was sent to an RTC at Meavy Lane where a Lorry had reportedly hit a telegraph pole and broken the electricity cable free from the pole into the road. On arrival the crew found the cable but the lorry had long gone. The crew closed the road and requested the attendence of the electricity board through Fire control. On the arrival of the electricity engineers the crew handed the incident over to them.
