Drills, 3rd of October, Station meeting.

Currently we get little feedback from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below to contact us.

At drills on the 3rd of October we had the quarterly check of all our PPE and had a quick demonstration of the Troll stretcher. We then had a station meeting.

  1. What’s a troll stretch?

    • The Troll in Troll stretcher refers to the brand name. A troll stretcher folds in half to reduce storage size and has straps to hold the casualty in place. Its a good piece of kit, however, when recovering casualties with the Ambulance Service we invariably use their “scoop” stretchers which are easier to get a caualty on to.

      Thanks for the comment.
