Drills, 12th of September, BA Exercise, Princetown Fire Station.

Currently we get little feedback from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below to contact us.

At drills on the 12th of September the crew had a BA exercise at the land drain under Princetown Fire Station. The exercise scenario was a child lost up a Sewer / Storm drain. Two crew were dispatched with BA and SHAC’s (line rescue equipment) to search the drain and locate the casualty. The exercise went well and we rescued the casualty with no problems. We then discussed what extra equipment we may have used under different circumstances, for example if the drain had been a sewer we would have used dry suits. Sorry, I forgot to take photos.
