At 20:31 on the 24th of July, Yelverton appliance was called to a large dog stuck down a drain at Buckland Monochorum. On arrival the crew found a Deer Hound that had fallen down the inspection pit of a domestic sewer. One crew man entered the pit and lifted the dog out assisted by the surface crew who used a strop around the dog to help lift. I have included some photos.
