At 00:28 on the 12th of December, Yelverton appliance was called to a man stuck in a bog on Dartmoor nr Princetown. On arrival the crew used the thermal imaging camera to help locate the casualty and, with the assistance of the ambulance service carried the man, who was suffering with the cold, off the moor. This chap was fortunate he had his mobile phone with him, had he not, he would almost certainly have died of Hypothermia before he was found in the morning.  Dartmoor is a beautiful part of the country but a dangerous place to be walking around at night.
