At 20:00 on the 3rd of December, Yelverton appliance was called to an RTC vehicle leaking fuel on the A386 between Grenofen and Tavistock. On arrival the crew found a vehicle on its roof with all persons out of the vehicle. The crew used a Tirfor winch to return the car to all four wheels and then pushed it to a place of safety to allow the road to be reopened. The vehicle had been under tow when it lost control and ended up on its roof. If you are towing another vehicle or being towed it is important to do so at a safe speed. The vehicle being towed does not have the use of  power assisted brakes and is hence much more difficult to slow down.
