Fire Call, 29th of November, Fire Alarm, Yelverton

At 18:06 on the 29th of November, Yelverton appliance was called to a sheltered housing complex in Yelverton by a fire alarm monitoring company to a reported fire alarm sounding. On arrival the crew found the same alarm activated that had activated on the 27th of November. The crew checked the premises with a thermal imaging camera and, satisfied the alarm had activated due to a fault, reminded the monitoring company a request to send an engineer to repair the alarm had been made on the 27th. On this occasion the crew were unable to silence the alarm.
