Drills, 11th of January, Ships Fire Fighting Exercise, H.M.S. Bulwark,

Currently we get little feedback from people reading the blog. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments please use the facility below to contact us.

On the 11th of January, Yelverton appliance was involved in a four appliance exercise at HMS Bulwark at the Dockyard. Four of Yelverton crew were used as Breathing Apparatus wearers and the OIC was made the shore side  sector commander. The scenario involved a fire in the sick bay with three persons reported. The crews and Royal Navy crews rescued all three casualties and extinguished the fire. The debrief made it clear the exercise had been a success and highlighted the good working relationship the crews had with the Royal Navy. No photos for obvious reasons.
